| UML Distilled - Second EditionJavacoding Rating: 95% Buy at Amazon.com here ...
A masterpiece !!!
If you're first learning the UML, this book is all you need. The 'distilled' in the title is a little misleading, it's far from a quick introduction on UML. Martin Fowler is able to introduce the UML, explain all diagrams, their usage and best practices

| Developing Enterprise Applications with J2EE and UMLJavacoding Rating: 90% Buy at Amazon.com here ...
A great book that covers the architectural side of J2EE,
as well as the relationship to UML modeling. After all, if you know J2EE and UML, it can be quite confusing to apply UML to the J2EE paradigm. This book explains it all
|

A more in-depth view on UML and it's usage.
Allthough it can be a bit boring if you're not a born analyst, this book is simply the best on UML that I've seen around. (The fact that it's written by the inventors of the UML says it all ... ).
Gotta have it ...
